- Precise GPS location โ collected only when you actively use the location reporting feature within a dashboard widget (Mobile Actions)
- Coarse location โ used to improve platform connectivity and regional configuration
- Location data is only transmitted when explicitly triggered by you within the App
c) Camera & Photos
- Photos taken via the in-app camera action are uploaded to your organization's Foxtheon IoT platform instance
- We do not access your photo library or store photos on our servers beyond your platform account
d) Usage & Diagnostics Data
- App interactions such as page views, button taps, and feature usage (Product Interaction data)
- Crash reports and error logs (Crash Data)
- App performance metrics such as load times and hang rates (Performance Data)
- This data is used solely to improve the App's stability and user experience
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- App Functionality: To authenticate your account, display IoT dashboards, deliver real-time device data, and enable platform features
- Push Notifications: To send alarm alerts and important updates related to your IoT devices
- Security: To detect and prevent unauthorized access to your account
- Performance Improvement: To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and optimize App performance
- Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and provide technical assistance
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- Your Organization: Data is shared with the Foxtheon IoT platform instance operated by your employer or organization
- Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services for crash reporting and analytics (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics). These providers are contractually bound to handle data securely and only for the stated purposes
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide services. Crash logs and diagnostics data are retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS/TLS
- Secure authentication with support for OAuth 2.0 and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

8. Location & Camera Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions:
- Location (When In Use): Required for the GPS location reporting feature in dashboard Mobile Actions. You can disable this at any time in your device Settings.
- Camera: Required for the photo capture feature in dashboard Mobile Actions. You can disable this at any time in your device Settings.
- Push Notifications: Used to deliver real-time alarm alerts. You can manage notification preferences in your device Settings.
9. Children's Privacy
The Foxtheon App is designed for enterprise and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
10. International Data Transfers
Our services may involve transferring your data to servers located in different countries. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR for users in the European Economic Area.
